  • I have a specific question that is not in the FAQ section – how do I ask it?
    You can ask questions two ways: 1) Emailing info@myzeniverse.com any questions! I'll get back to you as soon as possible within 24 hours 😄 2) Using the chat icon in the bottom right of the screen, you can input your email and your message so that I can get back to you. The chat is basically just another way to send me an email; I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
  • How is the "MyZeniverse App" different from my program?
    The MyZeniverse™ App is currently coming soon (projected by late 2023), and includes over 6 different entire programs ranging from correcting muscle imbalances, strength training, cardio training, balance training, breath-work & meditation, and stretch & flexibility. We believe Balance Training is the central foundation of overall functional fitness and wellness, so we started off by releasing that program first. The program you are currently signed up for on the current MyZeniverse.com platform is just one piece of the whole platform. This is only the beginning!   • What if I find that the balance exercises are too easy?
    Joining this program, your first step is to follow along the interactive placement assessment that can be found in the first section of your program. This assessment is designed to place you in a suitable level according to your skills. No matter what, you will have access to ALL levels. So, if for any reason you find exercises are too easy, or even too difficult, you can progress or regress to those levels accordingly. No matter what level you place into, one simple way to make your exercises more challenging is to perform the exercises barefoot. If you are in the Intermediate or Advanced levels, you can attempt at using foam pads with exercises to increase the intensity. But don't worry, I provide modifications for exercises and tips along the way in every teaching video! You'll never feel alone, and you'll always be guided 😊
  • How long will I have to do this until I start noticing changes?
    Per level, I’ve noticed students begin to express a single level (one video worth of exercises) starting to become easy anywhere between 2-6 weeks of consistency. Research shows that results may start being noticed after 4-8 weeks of progressive overload – taking into consideration the commitment of an individual to a program. One systematic review research article determined that the average amount of weeks older adults may expect significant beneficial changes from a balance training program is around 11-12 weeks… and those are significant beneficial results!
  • What is TrueCoach?
    TrueCoach is the personal training and fitness platform I use to organize, schedule, and care for clients and BalanceFit members alike. TrueCoach is available as desktop login and through an Android and iPhone app. The app is completely free! When you sign up for BalanceFit (or any program with me,) you will receive an invite within 24 hours from "TrueCoach" from coach Emma Mattison. This is how we can get started together!   • Why can’t I just follow free YouTube Videos designated to improve my balance?
    As a personal trainer, I understand the customization required for successful programs. While following free YouTube videos designated to improve balance is an excellent way to start understanding the concept, it does not provide an individual with two key components for successful change: individualization and progressive overload. Free YouTube videos may provide some cues for various levels, but do not typically place an individual in an appropriate level or program to fully facilitate adherence, change, individualization, and safety.
  • How can I be sure this program will be for me?
    Your program comes with a 14 day free trial! During this free trial, you can take your free balance placement assessment to determine the appropriate series and/or level for your abilities! You then will be able to test out the videos relevant to you as part of the 2 day free trial. Of course, while I cannot guarantee results, as results are particular to the individual and their own honest commitment to the program, I can guarantee satisfaction! If for any reason, other than results, you feel the program is not for you, or you are not satisfied with the course style, you can cancel your subscription at any time! No contracts.

  • Why does it have to be a monthly subscription?
    Research is always evolving, and therefore, nothing for exercise should stay stagnant! My programs are dynamic, meaning I am updating them to correlate with research, and consistently make them the best. The program is currently on a monthly subscription basis due to the 24/7 access you will have to these dynamic changes. Much better than a canned-workout program, like a DVD, that you buy once, isn’t even individualized, and never gets updated with the latest and greatest!
  • What payment methods do you accept?
    We ACCEPT all major cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express. Payment is through Stripe. Our site is SSL secure and PCI compliant, with guaranteed safe checkout. We DO NOT accept checks or eChecks.
  • How do I know these exercises will actually work, and not make my balance worse?
    While I cannot guarantee results, as results are particular to the individual and their own honest commitment to the program, I can provide legitimate research to support the beneficial effects of balanced training programs. Here are just a few citations, so you can feel confident that your program is science-backed: 1 “Physical exercise interventions, specifically involving exercises that challenge balance and posture, have the potential to significantly reduce fall risk in healthy older adults.” (Hamed et al. 2018) 2 “In older individuals, balance training can improve functionality when applied to task-specific activities, and was shown to improve both basic and advanced lower extremity function.” (Roaldsen et al. 2014) 3 “competitive athletes who performed balance training exercises reduced the risk of an ankle sprain by 46% compared to athletes who didn’t perform balance training exercises.” (Belows and Wong, 2018)
  • How do I get to my program?
    DESKTOP: Easily get to your program by: STEP 1: Log in (if you are not already) STEP 2: Click on your profile icon (top right of the screen) STEP 3: From the drop-down menu, select "PROGRAMS." STEP 4: You should see your Balance Training Program under your profile for easy access! Simply click the text for "Go to Program." MOBILE: Easily get to your program by: STEP 1: Click the three lines (the phone menu) in the top right of the screen. Your profile icon will show up in this menu (top right of the screen.) STEP 2: Click on your photo icon. A dropdown list will show: select "PROGRAMS." If you do not see your photo icon, make sure log in first. STEP 3: You should see your Balance Training Program under your profile for easy access!
